2011 Mourvedre

A varietal originally from Spanish towns of Murviedro & Mataro. Migrated to S. France 400 years ago. Was often blended with Grenache, Cinsaut, and Syrah.

This wine fills your glass with earth, plum and white pepper aromas. Concentrated berry, fig and plum flavors contrast with hints of earth and meat in a rich, voluptuous body. It is delicious paired with lamb, game and meat stews.

2010 Rook's Red

This is our blend crafted of Cabernet Sauvignon (42%), Merlot (35%), Petit Verdot ((18%) and Petite Sirah (5%). This wine expresses lovely floral aromas of rose and violet mingled with spice and nutmeg. Ripe flavors of cherry and blackberry are layered with hints of herbs and vanilla leading to a finish full of chocolate and cherry flavors. Plenty of lively natural acidity means this wine will age nicely. Delicious with braised meats or grilled steaks.

Beautifully balanced, great aging potential. Aromas of blackberry, earth and spice are framed by soft tannins that carry through a long finish.

2010 Syrah

Ripe blackberry aromas and flavors dominate this rich and smooth wine. Silky tannin, layers of dark cherry, oak spice and chocolate lead to a long finish. Pair with grilled meats, sausages and Northwest salmon.

2011 Sauvignon Blanc

Aromas of fresh cut grass, tarragon and melon lead to mouth-watering flavors of tart apple, grapefruit and pineapple. The distinctly varietal citrus fruit lingering in the finish makes this wine tremendously versatile with food, especially seafood and white meats, grilled or baked. It is wonderful with a slice of Anjou pear and mild goat cheese.

2013 Verdelho

Aromas of honeysucke, toasted coconut and tart pear. Flavors of lychee, pear, toasted coconut and minerality lead to a pleasant creamy finish. This is the first bottling of the first planting of Verdehlo in Washington.

A Rhone blend of Grenache Blanc, Picpoul and Roussanne, all from Bosetti Vineyards, expresses aromas of pear, ginger and green apple and flavors of apple, peach, honey and spice. Finished on neutral oak.
